PETALING JAYA: Oxford Innotech Bhd
is expanding its manufacturing capacity to capture growing demand from the semiconductor and data centre sectors, with its latest expansion expected to support a stronger earnings trajectory into 2027.
In a report, UOB Kay Hian Research said Oxford Innotech’s Phase 2 expansion of its Penang Science Park Factory 2 is targeted for completion in the second half of 2027.
The expansion will increase the facility’s floor space by 50.2% to 202,696 sq ft, while investments in additional equipment are expected to raise production capacity by 16%.
The research house noted that the group’s order backlog rose 30% quarter- on-quarter to RM38.9mil as at June 30, 2026, supported by repeat orders from its data centre customer and growing demand from semiconductor customers.
Moreover, the company is deepening its exposure to higher-value semiconductor precision engineering, having secured RM8.8mil in purchase orders from a leading US-based mass flow controller manufacturer.
