Country Heights to take over ops of Mines Resort

PETALING JAYA: Country Heights Holdings Bhd says it will assume direct management of Mines Beach Resort following the early termination of a management agreement by a third-party operator.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said its indirect subsidiary, Mines Wellness Hotel Bhd (MWHB), which owns the resort, received a notice for early termination from Tamara Concierge Sdn Bhd on Feb 25, 2026.

“Following the receipt of the termination notice, MWHB and the group had undertaken the necessary measures to ensure continuity of the operations of Mines Beach Resort and will assume direct management and operation of Mines Beach Resort, with effect from today,” Country Heights said.
