Pasdec appoints Mohammad Ikhwan as CEO effective May 1

KUALA LUMPUR: Pasdec Holdings Bhd has appointed Mohammad Ikhwan Mustapa Al Bakri as its new chief executive officer, effective May 1.

Mohammad Ikhwan, 41, succeeds Liew Chai Sen, who resigned to pursue other interests, Pasdec announced in a filing with Bursa Malaysia. 

He brings more than 17 years of experience in project planning and construction, project management, regulatory compliance, cost control, and stakeholder engagement.

Prior to this appointment, he served as vice president of property and strategy development at Pasdec, where he led development strategies, land acquisition, and end-to-end project execution for the group.

In his new role, Mohammad Ikhwan will oversee Pasdec’s overall operations and strategic direction, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening the group’s development portfolio and delivering sustainable value to stakeholders.

He holds a Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (Hons) and a Diploma in Quantity Surveying from Universiti Teknologi MARA.
