Express Powerr inks agreement for Lombok job

PETALING JAYA: Express Powerr Solutions (M) Bhd has entered into a joint cooperation agreement or JCA to undertake a 15MW power-generation project in Lombok, Indonesia, marking a step in its regional expansion.

In a bourse filing on April 15, the group said its Indonesian subsidiary, PT Express Power Energy, will collaborate with PT Triotama Toya Energi, part of a consortium appointed for the project, which involves the procurement and rental of high-speed diesel biodiesel-fuelled containerised power generation units, along with installation and related works.

Under the deal, both parties will jointly handle supply, installation, operations and maintenance. PT Express Power will take a 70% share of revenue after costs, with PT Triotama holding the remaining 30%. Costs will be shared on a similar basis. The job’s rental period is expected to run for two years from commercial operations.
