KUALA LUMPUR: Exsim Hospitality Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Exsim Concepto Sdn Bhd (ECSB), has secured a RM2.66mil subcontract for a powertrain relocation project for Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional Sdn Bhd (Proton).
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said ECSB accepted a letter of award from Epic Team Construction Sdn Bhd for construction and renovation works related to the project.
The subcontract, which commenced on March 27, 2026, is scheduled for completion on July 17, 2026, with a duration of four months.
It also carries a defects liability period of six months from the date of practical completion.
Exsim Hospitality said the contract is expected to contribute positively to its net assets per share, earnings per share and gearing over the duration of the project.
