Saripuddin resigns as MRT Corp chairman

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Saripuddin Kasim has stepped down from his role as chairman of Malaysia Rapid Transit Corp Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) to pursue other interests effective since March 1.

In a statement yesterday, MRT Corp expressed the company’s gratitude to Saripuddin for his leadership and guidance during his tenure as chairman and wished him “the very best in his future endeavours.”

Saripuddin was appointed as MRT Corp chairman on Nov 19, 2025. — Bernama
