PA Resources 2Q revenue sees 35% y-o-y hike

The group said the lower profit was the result of an unfavourable exchange rate which was in US dollar.

PETALING JAYA: PA Resources Bhd has posted a lower profit of RM3.43mil for the second quarter ended Dec 31, 2025 compared to the RM10.05mil for the same quarter a year ago.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the aluminum extruder company said however, its revenue for the quarter saw a 34.6% year-on-year increase at RM147.99mil, driven by higher sales orders.

The group said the lower profit was the result of an unfavourable exchange rate which was in US dollar.

It declared a dividend of 0.5 sen per share, amounting to approximately RM7.5mil reflecting the group’s commitment in their dividend policies.

“We are encouraged by the robust revenue growth in the first half of the financial year, supported by higher sales orders and sustained customers’ demand,” said group managing director Tan Sri Lau Kuan Kam.

For the first half ended Dec 31, 2025 PA Resources recorded revenue of RM295.7mil, a 9.7% increase compared with RM269.6mil recorded in the previous corresponding period.
