Econpile bags RM24mil building job


PETALING JAYA: Econpile Holdings Bhd has secured a sub-contract for piling and sub-structure works for an apartment in Gombak, Selangor, from Al-Ambia Sdn Bhd worth RM24mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction company said the contract will consist of earthwork, bored piling work, pile cap and reinforced concrete retaining wall for the proposed development of a single block of 18-storey free cost apartments comprising 306 units, together with car parking facility, rooftop garden, facilities floors and utility spaces.

“The project will be completed within 14.5 months from Jan 12, 2026, being the commencement date stipulated in the letter of award. Any matters that may warrant an extension of the completion period, including any instructions affecting the timing of commencement, will be addressed in accordance with the contract provisions, as necessary.”
