Swift Energy Tech subsidiary bags contracts worth RM18mil


PETALING JAYA: Swift Energy Technology Bhd has secured multiple purchase orders with a combined value of about RM18mil, strengthening its order book and earnings visibility for the financial year ending Sept 30, 2026.

In a filing dated Jan 20, the company said its wholly owned subsidiary, Swift Energy Sdn Bhd, received four purchase orders, with two of the contracts being awarded by Rimbunan Jaya Sdn Bhd for the North Belud Sabah wellhead platform project operated by PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd.

These involve the supply of an ex solar power and wind turbine hybrid power system, as well as an 80kW diesel generator, both scheduled for delivery by the second quarter of 2026.

Ex solar power systems are explosion-proof (Ex) solar photovoltaic systems designed for hazardous industrial environments.

Swift Energy also secured an order from Sweden-based Kraft Powercon AB to supply five 220Vdc Ex e battery boxes for the B58 FPSO project in Suriname, with delivery expected by the second quarter of 2026.

Another contract was awarded by Expet Controls Sdn Bhd for the supply of 11kV power factor correction panels for Petronas Gas Bhd’s GPP2 and GPP3 projects, to be delivered by the fourth quarter of 2026.
