Former army chief Zamrose resigns as Boustead Heavy Industries director


KUALA LUMPUR: Boustead Heavy Industries Corporation Bhd (BHIC) said General (Retired) Tan Sri Zamrose Mohd Zain has resigned as a director of the company, with effect from Jan 12, 2026.

Zamrose, 64, stepped down from his position as a non-independent, non-executive director to pursue other interests, the company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Tuesday.

In a separate filing, BHIC stated Zamrose also resigned as chairman of the Risk Committee on the same date.

"The company is in the process of identifying a replacement for the chairman of the Risk and Sustainability Committee,” the shipbuilding company said. - Bernama
