Insas sells down stake in Omesti


PETALING JAYA: Insas Bhd has ceased to be a a substantial shareholder of Omesti Bhd following the disposal of 112.35 million ordinary Omesti shares on Dec 29.

Omesti did not disclose the price or whether the sale was done in the open market. In filings with Bursa Malaysia, Omesti noted the shares sold were held via Insas Plaza Sdn Bhd, Gryphon Asset Management Sdn Bhd, Montego Assets Ltd, Winfields Development Pte Ltd and Mocrolink Solutions Bhd.

In a separate filing, Omesti posted a net loss of RM79mil for the month of October 2025, due to write-downs of other investments, finance cost incurred from early settlement of redeemable preference shares and expenses incurred from corporate proposals.

It made a revenue of RM8.7mil for the month driven by order fulfilments and progress billing from its business performance services segment and retail sales from healthcare services.
