Kuchai shares suspended for special dividend payout

KUALA LUMPUR: Trading in the shares of Kuchai Development Bhd was suspended from 10.57 am today, to facilitate the payment of a special cash dividend of 44.8 sen per ordinary share.

The stock exchange operator said the suspension was implemented in conjunction with Kuchai’s previously announced notice of book closure and notice to shareholders dated Dec 11, 2025.

However, due to an inadvertent delay in imposing the suspension, Bursa Malaysia said all outstanding orders for the counter would be withdrawn, while trades executed earlier in the day would be cancelled after the close of trading on Dec 23, 2025.
