Carimin lands RM34mil PetGas project

PETALING JAYA: Carimin Petroleum Bhd has accepted a letter of award (LoA) from Petronas Gas Bhd or PetGas for the provision of procurement, construction and commissioning of permanent pipeline replacement at Putra Heights, Selangor worth RM33.98mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the oil and gas company said the LoA will not have any material effect on the net assets and gearing of Carimin and its subsidiaries for the financial year ending June 30, 2026.

“However, the LoA is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the group over the duration of the LoA,” it said.

The company added the LoA is not subject to the approval from the company’s shareholders and/or any regulatory authorities.
