SumiSaujana inks PRCSB supply deal

PETALING JAYA: SumiSaujana Group Bhd has secured a three-year contract to supply specialised chemicals and provide in-situ sulfiding services to Pengerang Refining Company Sdn Bhd (PRCSB), the operator of refinery and steam cracker facilities in Johor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said its wholly owned subsidiary, SumiSaujana TCM Chemicals Sdn Bhd, signed the agreement on Sept 10, 2025, covering the supply and delivery of di-tert-butyl polysulfide or TBPS, ethyl mercaptan or EM and manpower, equipment, materials and logistics support for PRCSB’s operations.

The company received PRCSB’s consent to announce the agreement on Dec 2. “The contract is on a call-out basis (which does not have a fixed contract value) as it is non-exclusive and carries no requirement for PRCSB to place any orders or purchase any minimum quantities,” it said.
