AWC unit wins RM59mil deal from Prasarana


PETALING JAYA: AWC Bhd has bagged a RM59mil contract from Prasarana Malaysia Bhd for the replacement of aluminium composite power conductor rails for the Ampang line rail track.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the engineering and facilities management firm said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Trackwork & Supplies Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a letter of acceptance from Prasarana.

The three-year contract entails the replacement of existing aluminium composite power conductor rails, along with all associated supply, installation, testing, and commissioning works in accordance with Prasarana’s technical specifications.

AWC said the contract will be funded via internal resources.
