PETALING JAYA: ITMax System Bhd
aims to grow its service offerings and expand into other geographical territories and segments.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the public space networked systems provider noted that inflationary pressures remain a threat to the local and global economy, while it continues to deliver on its ongoing project and plots its mid and long-term growth.
For the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2025 (3Q25), ITMAX’s net profit rose to RM25.60mil from RM22.11mil in the previous corresponding period, driven by higher revenue.
Revenue in 3Q25 grew to RM65.17mil from RM58.02mil a year earlier, attributable to the increase in digital infrastructure solutions.
For the nine-month period ended Sept 30, 2025 (9M25), ITMAX’s net profit grew to RM68.82mil from RM59.3mil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue rose to RM174.35mil from RM157.10mil previously.
Meanwhile, sister company Optimax Holdings Bhd
saw its 3Q25 net profit drop to RM2.78mil from RM3.17mil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue during the quarter rose to RM35.18mil from RM33.10mil a year earlier.
“The increase in revenue is mainly due to contributions from newly set up aesthetic clinics, Neumax and satellite clinics/centres in East Malaysia and Cambodia.
“However, the increase in profit before tax is not proportional to the increase in revenue compared to the previous quarter is mainly due to an increase in staff costs and higher depreciation expenses for new operation equipment from the newly set up satellite/centre,” said the eye specialist services provider in a Bursa Malaysia filing.
For 9M25, Optimax’s net profit rose to RM10.37mil from RM9.95mil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue grew to RM99.6mil from RM93.36mil previously.
The group declared an interim single-tier dividend of 0.80 sen per ordinary share, to be paid on Dec 26.
Going forward, Optimax said the outlook for the healthcare industry remains robust, which aligns with the Government's agenda.
“This is driven by the increasing demand and awareness from both local and foreign patients who are more health-conscious.
“Optimax is well positioned to capitalise on this trend as it continues to optimise operational costs and seeks strategic locations across Malaysia to establish more ambulatory care centres and satellite clinics to support its growth.”
The group said it is cognisant that such strategic locations must be supported by high foot traffic.
