Narrower net loss for Pos Malaysia

The company's third-quarter revenue increased to RM462.77mil from RM458.96mil previously.

KUALA LUMPUR: Pos Malaysia Bhd recorded a net loss of RM45.23mil for the third quarter of this year (3Q25), narrowing from a net loss of RM49.89mil in the same quarter last year.

Revenue increased to RM462.77mil from RM458.96mil previously, driven by a stronger performance in the postal and aviation sectors.

“Parcel volumes rose 15% year-on-year (y-o-y), driven by market share gains; however, yields remain under pressure due to intense competitive dynamics.

“The parcel segment will continue to focus on network optimisation to reduce the cost of end-to-end delivery and service differentiation to accelerate market share growth,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

For the first nine months of this year, the company recorded a RM132.17mil net loss on revenue of RM1.37bil, compared with a RM125.5mil net loss on revenue of RM1.39bil for the same period last year.
