Nestcon wins RM355mil apartment job


PETALING JAYA: Nestcon Bhd has accepted a letter of award (LoA) from Inter Sky Development Sdn Bhd to construct two blocks of 57-storey serviced apartments Taman Wahyu, Kuala Lumpur for RM355mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction engineering firm said the date of commencement shall be Nov 15, 2025, with 14 days mobilisation period.

“The overall completion period for the project shall be 34 months and the completion date shall be Sept 14, 2028

“The defect liability period shall be 27 months from the date of practical completion stated in the Certificate of Practical Completion of the project.”

Nestcon added that the project is expected to contribute positively to the net assets per share, earnings per share and gearing of the company throughout the duration of the project.

“The company does not foresee any exceptional risk other than the normal operational risks associated with the LoA and the project. Nevertheless, the company will take the necessary steps to mitigate the risks as and when they occur.”
