AWC wins RM15mil S’pore job


PETALING JAYA: AWC Bhd has received a letter of acceptance from the Housing & Development Board of Singapore or HDB for the design, build and operation of a pneumatic waste conveyance system or PWCS at Project EW & FM in Singapore, worth S$4.65mil (RM14.8mil).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the engineering services firm said the project will consist of two phases.

For Phase 1 (Project EW), AWC said Part A (design works) is to take 12 months from the date of commencement, while Part B (construction works) is to take 24 months.

For Phase 2 (Project FM), AWC said Part A (design works) will take 12 months from the date of commencement, while Part B (construction works) will take 24 months.

“Works for each phase will commence upon instructions issued by HDB in writing,” said the company.
