Feytech signs MoU with South Korea’s DAS Corp for Hyundai Staria project

KUALA LUMPUR: Feytech Holdings Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Feytech Sdn Bhd, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with South Korea’s DAS Corp to establish a technical collaboration.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the automotive cover and seat manufacturer said the MoU aims to support the technical development of Hyundai’s Staria project in Malaysia.

Under the MoU, both parties will work together on engineering design, testing and validation activities, and will exchange technical drawings and specifications while coordinating the procurement and supply of child parts.

The partnership also includes the transfer of relevant technology and know-how.

“The collaboration leverages Feytech’s local engineering capabilities and DAS’s expertise in automotive technology and cost management to support Hyundai’s regional initiatives,” Feytech said.

“This partnership aligns with Feytech’s strategic direction to expand its technical and industrial capabilities, contributing to the growth of the automotive sector in Malaysia and supporting national industrial development goals,” it added.
