Key ASIC gets RM2.09mil repeat AI chip order


KUALA LUMPUR: Key Asic Bhd has secured a repeat order worth RM2.09mil for its proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) chips from a leading technology company.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Key ASIC said the repeat order, received underscores the customer’s continued confidence in its innovation, reliability, and performance.

The customer, identified as Customer B, is a technology company involved in the design, development, and production of semiconductor and AI-related products.

Key ASIC said the first batch of chips has been shipped, with the remaining units currently being delivered.

“The repeat order reflects the customer’s continued trust in Key ASIC’s design innovation, reliability, and performance of its AI chip.

“Since the inception of this project, it has contributed RM10.9mil in revenue, underscoring the commercial viability of Key ASIC’s technology and its growing presence in the AI semiconductor sector,” it said.
