PETALING JAYA: CelcomDigi Bhd has appointed Albern Murty, 53, as the company’s chief executive officer (CEO), effective Feb 10, 2026.

“He brings over 22 years of leadership experience in the telecommunications industry, including seven years as CEO of Digi.Com Bhd (Digi),” the company said in a bourse filing.

Prior roles Albern held include chief operating officer and chief marketing officer at Digi, as well as executive vice-president and head of emerging Asia at Telenor Asia.
