Master Tec subsidiary bags RM10.68mil electrical infrastructure sub-contract


KUALA LUMPUR: Master TEC Group Bhd said its 51%-owned subsidiary Sediacom Sdn Bhd has accepted a RM10.68mil contract for the sub-contract works of external electrical infrastructure.

In a statement, the group said the sub-contract works are expected to commence in October 2025 and be completed by June 2026.

It said the customer's identity remains confidential, but it is principally involved in the supply of electrical accessories and contract services across Malaysia.

"This project will add meaningful revenue visibility over the next two quarters and aligns well with our long-term ambition to expand our footprint in the power infrastructure and grid support segments," said Master Tec CEO Tee Kok Hwa.

With the latest award, the group said its total outstanding order book stood at RM118.28mil from its manufacturing and trading segments under Master Tec Wires & Cables Sdn Bhd, and RM29.57mil from its infrastructure and utility services segment under Sediacom.
