exchange-traded fund (ETF) must be very pleased as gold prices hit new historic highs of US$3,790 a troy ounce this week.
Since the ETF’s launch and listing on Bursa Malaysia in late 2017 by Affin Bank Bhd, gold price has soared by 190% while the ETF’s price per unit by 175%.
