When construction debris destroys your home


One quiet evening in August 2025, a family in Bukit Damansara – living in the shadow of an ongoing construction project, with metal hoardings a mere few inches from their backyard – faced a nightmare no homeowner ever expects.

At about 5.55pm, debris from a neighbouring condominium project came crashing through their roof. A granite tile had plummeted into the house, striking one of the occupants in the face. She was fortunate to survive but her home was left damaged and her family deeply shaken.
