ICT Zone Asia secures RM24.5mil ICT hardware purchase order

KUALA LUMPUR: ICT Zone Asia Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, ICT Zone Sdn Bhd, has received a purchase order worth RM24.53mil for the trading of ICT hardware, including laptops and related peripheral devices.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, ICT Zone Asia said the order was placed by a Malaysian company that provides ICT solutions and distribution. The identity of the buyer has not been disclosed due to confidentiality clauses in the agreement.

ICT Zone Asia said the purchase will be financed through a combination of bank borrowings and internally generated funds.

“The purchase order is expected to contribute positively to the earnings per share and net assets per share of the company and its subsidiaries upon fulfilment of the purchase order,” it said.
