RM43mil cable work awarded to Jati Tinggi


PETALING JAYA: Jati Tinggi Group Bhd (JTGB) has secured a contract worth RM42.88mil from Worktime Engineering Sdn Bhd to lay 11 kilovolts of underground cables for the “North Zone and Selangor Zone”.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the infrastructure utilities engineering solutions provider said the scope of work includes the supply of pipes, installation of power cables and fibre optic cables, jointing and termination, testing, commissioning, and all ancillary works.

The contract shall be for a period of 20 months, effective from the date of notice to commence work, it said.

JTGB said the contract is expected to contribute positively to its future earnings, earnings per share and net assets per share over the contract period.
