Magni-Tech cautiously optimistic

Magni-Tech’s first-quarter net profit dipped to RM35.59mil.

PETALING JAYA: Magni-Tech Industries Bhd remains cautiously optimistic about its business outlook for the remaining quarters of its current financial year and will stay vigilant in navigating potential challenges and risks to ensure the sustainability in its operations.

For the first quarter ended July 31, 2025, Magni-Tech’s net profit dipped to RM35.59mil from RM44.64mil in the previous corresponding period.

Meanwhile, revenue dropped to RM377.61mil from RM437.6mil a year earlier, mainly due to lower sale orders received for its garment and packaging divisions.

The company has declared a single-tier interim dividend of 3.5 sen per ordinary share for the financial year ending April 30, 2026 to be paid on Oct 15.
