Ringgit closes lower against greenback ahead of US inflation data


KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit closed lower against the US dollar on Friday as traders turned cautious ahead of the United States (US) Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) data to be released later tonight. 

At 6 pm, the local note slid to 4.2230/2275 versus the greenback from yesterday’s close of 4.2140/2195.
