KUALA LUMPUR: Jati Tinggi Group Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Jati Tinggi Holding Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM30.1mil contract to undertake power infrastructure works for a data centre in Kulai, Johor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said its subsidiary had accepted a letter of acceptance (LOA) from a Malaysian-incorporated company principally involved in providing data hosting infrastructure, data processing services and related activities.

The contract involves the design, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of two circuits of 275kV underground cable ducting works and 11kV temporary power cable works.

The works will support the power infrastructure requirements of a data centre in Kulai.

Jati Tinggi said the RM30.1mil contract sum was inclusive of taxes, insurance coverage and the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) levy.

The contract shall be effective from the date of acceptance up to July 25, 2027.

The group said the contract was expected to contribute positively to its earnings, earnings per share and net assets per share over the contract period.
