BM Greentech secures RM95mil solar PV plant contracts

KUALA LUMPUR: BM Greentech Bhd’s wholly-owned unit, Plus Xnergy Services Sdn Bhd, has secured RM95.01 million worth of contracts from Nefin V Power Sdn Bhd to develop a 29.99-megawatt alternating current (MWac) solar photovoltaic (PV) plant.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing today, the biomass boiler company said that the contract sum for the procurement agreement is RM64.87 million. This agreement involves the procurement and supply of machinery, equipment, materials, and tools, which include, but are not limited to, PV panels and mounting structures.

"The contract sum for the engineering and construction agreement is RM30.14 million for the design, engineering, project and construction management of the solar farm,” BM GreenTech said.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the project is expected to contribute positively to the net assets and earnings per share for its group of companies for the financial year ending March 31, 2026 and onwards until the completion of the project. - Bernama
