Bursa Malaysia retreats from seven-day gains, tracking downbeat regional bourses

KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia pulled back from a seven-day winning streak to close lower today due to profit-taking in line with the downbeat regional market performance.

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) eased 5.55 points, or 0.35 per cent, to close at 1,581.05 from yesterday’s close of 1,586.60.
