MoUs a step in the right direction for SD Guthrie

Maybank IB is keeping its earnings forecasts for SD Guthrie unchanged.

PETALING JAYA: SD Guthrie Bhd’s multi-pronged strategy to hasten developments at Carey Island is positive, but the recent joint ventures it inked on this front will likely be recognised in 2026 at the very earliest, says Maybank Investment Bank Research (Maybank IB).

SD Guthrie recently announced its seventh potential JV industrial park, its second at Carey Island. It signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Permodalan Negeri Selangor Bhd (PNSB).
