PETALING JAYA: Eduspec Holdings Bhd has accepted a letter of award from EG Industries Bhd to perform independent testing services for 5G optical modules and other related components, worth RM40mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the educational institution said it would be responsible to perform a variety of independent functional tests, including testing and validating the 5G optical printed circuit board assembly, 5G Wifi router, wireless access and other related components and products.

“The date of commencement of the contract was April 1, 2025. The contract shall be for a duration of up to 12 months, commencing from the agreed upon date of commencement.”

In a separate announcement, Eduspec said it is disposing of its 20% stake (or 1,000 shares) in mobile games publisher Get success Sdn Bhd to Ong Yin Wei and Tan Suong Chai for RM1.39mil.

“The proposed disposal will allow the group to better manage its financial planning for its other business requirements,” said Eduspec.
