Destini signs two HVAC deals


PETALING JAYA: Destini Bhd has signed two agreements with SMH Rail Sdn Bhd to undertake the overhauls of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and brake caliper equipment fitted to 58 Inspiro platform electric train sets operating on the MRT Line 1 (Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line).

A financial amount for the contracts was not disclosed. Destini, which provides integrated engineering solutions, said the contracts were entered into via its indirect subsidiary, Trovon Malaysia Sdn Bhd, adding that the tenure of the agreements is for a period of 20 months from June 2025 to January 2027.

“This engagement strengthens Trovon’s position as a technically capable and locally embedded subsystem maintainer, able to support SMH, a well-established railway systems manufacturer and integrator in executing vital rolling stock maintenance programmes.”
