PJBumi gets nod for RM40mil GDV Kedah factories


KUALA LUMPUR: PJBumi Bhd has secured approval from the Majlis Perbandaran Sungai Petani to build 22 units of medium industrial factories in Kedah, with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM40 million.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, PJBumi said the approval is valid for one year, from May 14, 2025 to May 13, 2026. Groundbreaking is scheduled for the third quarter of this year.

The group said the development is expected to contribute positively to earnings and net assets from the financial year ending June 30, 2026 onwards. - Bernama
