MN Holdings wins RM30mil solar contracts


PETALING JAYA: MN Holdings Bhd has secured two contracts from Sunview Group Bhd for solar interconnection projects in Kedah worth RM29.7mil.

In a statement, MN Holdings said its wholly-owned subsidiary, MN Power Transmission Sdn Bhd, has been appointed as the interconnection facilities contractor for two 29.99MW alternating current solar power plant projects in Kuala Muda, Kedah.

“The scope includes the establishment of new interconnection facilities and the extension of two 132 kilovolt bays at the existing transmission main intake Aman Jaya.”

Executive director Datuk Dang Siong Diang said the projects reinforce the company’s strong support for Malaysia’s green energy agenda and highlight its continued involvement in the nation’s shift toward cleaner, renewable sources of power.
