MCE secures contracts worth RM121mil


PETALING JAYA: Automotive electronics and mechatronics supplier MCE Holdings Bhd, via its subsidiaries, has bagged multiple new contracts with a combined value of RM120.67mil.

In a statement, it said its subsidiary, Multi-Code Electronics Industries (M) Bhd, had secured a RM69.59mil supply contract with JVIS USA LLC, a Michigan-based automotive components supplier of top-tier global carmakers.

The 60-month contract entails the supply of mechatronic components for a vehicle model in the US market, with production scheduled to commence in the first quarter of the financial year ending July 31, 2027.

The same subsidiary had also secured domestic contracts with Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd totalling RM41.33mil, involving two upcoming models – an electric vehicle and an internal combustion engine vehicle.

It said another subsidiary, MCE Hengtuo Sdn Bhd, had secured a 60-month supply contract with Proton Holdings Bhd for mechanical and mechatronic parts for a new model, valued at RM9.75mil.
