SkyWorld signs MoU to explore residential project in Ho Chi Minh City


PETALING JAYA: Skyworld Development Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, SkyWorld Development (Vietnam) Company Ltd had entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dong Me Kong Construction Manufacture Trading Service Company Ltd and Phu My Development Investment Joint Stock Company, to negotiate on developing a residential project in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, SkyWorld stated the negotiation period with the two parties is prior to the signing of a tripartite conditional joint development agreement (CJDA) to jointly develop the Project Residential Complex No 13D located at D13, Phong Phu Commune, Binh Chanh District in Ho Chin Minh City.

The CJDA had granted SkyWorld Vietnam an exclusive negotiation period of three months with potential extension upon mutual consent by all parties.

The proposed 13D Project involves the development of a high-rise apartment, low-rise-linked house, shophouse and villa on a total land size of 117,890 sq m.
