KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit opened higher against the US dollar today as the greenback weakened on a softening US economic outlook and amid uncertainties over reciprocal tariffs scheduled to be announced by the United States later today, said an analyst.
At 8 am, the ringgit climbed to 4.4300/4400 against the greenback from last Friday’s close of 4.4330/4355.
