Data centre sector powering ahead as Microsoft buys land in Johor

JUST when you thought that the data centre (DC) buzz was fizzling out – no thanks to the US government’s decision to limit the supply of relevant technologies to countries like Malaysia – the fire still seems to be burning hot.

This week, Eco World Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld Malaysia) says it is selling another piece of land in Johor to Microsoft for RM693.96mil cash.
