KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Property Bhd has won the Platinum Award in the ‘Property Development’ category at the 2024 Putra Brand Awards, marking its third consecutive year as the nation's top property developer.

The public-voted award reflects trust in Sime Darby Property’s brand, built on over five decades of excellence, innovation, and sustainability. The company received the highest votes based on brand recognition, usage, and purchase intent.

“This public-voted award is a clear affirmation of the trust Malaysians place in Sime Darby Property as a leading property developer.

“We are honoured by this recognition, which reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality developments in line with our purpose as a value multiplier for people, businesses, economies, and the planet.

“We extend our sincere gratitude to the voters, our customers, and our partners for the continuous support,” group managing director & chief executive officer Datuk Seri Azmir Merican said.

The Putra Brand Awards, or "People’s Choice Awards," is Malaysia’s top brand award, established for brand managers and owners. Launched in 2010, it honours brands that connect well with consumers.

Organised by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents of Malaysia (4As) and Malaysia’s Most Valuable Brands (MMVB), winners are chosen through an online survey of over 11,000 respondents across various categories.
