CapitaLand Malaysia Trust appoints Yong Su-Lin as CEO designate


KUALA LUMPUR: CapitaLand Malaysia REIT Management Sdn Bhd (CMRM), the manager of Capitaland Malaysia Trust (CLMT), has appointed Yong Su-Lin as chief executive officer, designate of CMRM, effective Jan 2, 2025.

“The appointment of Yong as the CEO designate is part of the leadership succession plan for CMRM,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

Yong will assist Tan Choon Siang, the CEO of CMRM, in executing the strategy for CLMT and managing its daily operations.

A further announcement on the leadership succession plan will be made once clearance from the Securities Commission is obtained regarding Yong’s appointment.

Yong has more than 28 years of experience in banking including project financing, consultancy and real estate industry including fund management for real estate.

She is currently the managing director of Malaysia and China and was an interim chief financial officer, Asia of the Lendlease Group.

Yong holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from the University of Northern Iowa, United States of America.
