PETALING JAYA: ITMax System Bhd
’s subsidiary, Southmax Sdn Bhd, has been appointed by Muar Municipal Council as the smart parking operator, managing 8,650 street parking bays in the Muar district.
In a statement, ITMAX announced that, like its other smart parking contracts, this 15-year contract, effective from Oct 1, 2024, will operate under a revenue-sharing model.Southmax will receive 70% of the revenue generated from parking collections and compounds.
