KUALA LUMPUR: KPJ Healthcare Bhd
's indirect wholly-owned subsidiary Bandar Dato Onn Specialist Hospital Sdn Bhd will undertake renovation works on two floors of the KPJ Bandar Dato Onn Specialist Hospital for RM18.3mil.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the hospital operator said it had issued a letter of acceptance to Tg Langsat Development Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of TPM Technopark Sdn Bhd, which is in turn an indirect subsidiary of Johor Corp, for the renovation works of floors 8 and 9 of the hospital.
The proposed renovation is deemed a related party transaction owing to the interests of certain KPJ directors in Johor Corp. It is expected to be completed by Nov 10, 2024.
