MGRC and Twistcode Technologies collaborate to develop advanced bioinformatics platform

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Genomics Resource Centre Bhd’s (MGRC) wholly-owned subsidiary MGRC Therapeutics Sdn Bhd (MGRCT) has entered a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Twistcode Technologies Sdn Bhd.

In a statement, MGRC said the collaboration will focus on the bioinformatics enhanced-accelerated services terminal (B.E.A.S.T), a cutting-edge platform designed to revolutionise bioinformatics services across Malaysia and the Middle East.

Under the MoU, the parties will explore collaborative opportunities in research, development, and commercialisation.

"This collaboration is set to enhance our capabilities in genomics and biopharmaceuticals significantly. Together, we aim to set new benchmarks in bioinformatics, contributing to advancements in healthcare and precision medicine,” executive chairman Azri Azerai said.
