Uzma bags contract from Sarawak Shell


KUALA LUMPUR: Uzma Bhd has secured a contract from Sarawak Shell Bhd (SSB) and Sabah Shell Petroleum Company Limited (SSPC) for the provision of integrated production and integrity chemical supply and associated services for SSB and SSPC (shallow water application).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Uzma said its subsidiary Malaysian Energy Chemical & Services Sdn Bhd (MECAS) accepted the award.

The contract is for five years effective April 15, 2024 until April 14, 2029.

Uzma expects the contract to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets per share of the company for the financial year ending June 30, 2024 and onwards until the expiry of the contract.
