KUALA LUMPUR: Sunway Property has entered into a lease agreement via its subsidiary Sunway PKNS Sdn Bhd with GCH Retail (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.

The signing will see the opening of a Mercato grocery store at the retail space of Sunway d’Hill, Kota Damansara, measuring a total of 20,409 sq. ft across 11 of the 29 retail lots available within the development, representing 38% of the total net floor area.

“GCH Retail has consistently demonstrated a knack for identifying strategic locations to fuel its expansion. We are delighted to welcome Mercato at Sunway d’Hill, as a testament to Sunway Property's proven track record in fostering high-growth communities,” chief executive officer Chong Sau Min said in a statement.

“We’re happy with this new partnership and confident that it will be a win for both Mercato and Sunway d’Hill, as it will further elevate Sunway d’Hill’s attractiveness amongst homebuyers. This is also an opportune time, as our annual Signature Series sales campaign has just started, and buyers will be able to enjoy exciting deals,” he added.

Sunway d’Hill is a mixed-use development situated on 6.46 acres of leasehold land in the mature township of Kota Damansara, adjacent to the Kota Damansara Community Forest Reserve.

Additionally, the development is located 2.5km away from the Kwasa Sentral MRT station and boasts easy access to the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), Penchala Link, and DASH highway.

Comprising 976 apartment units in two towers, Sunway d’Hill’s apartments have four layouts, from 2-bedroom units (829 sq ft) to the largest unit type with 4 bedrooms (1,238 sq ft). All units in Sunway d’Hill come with their yards, and all bedrooms will be externally facing to allow for better views, daylight, and ventilation.

Sunway Property is developing Sunway Medical Centre Damansara which is scheduled for completion in 2024 and located just 3km away from Sunway d’Hill.
