PETALING JAYA: Wholly owned Star Media Group subsidiary StarProperty is making the final call for entries for its upcoming Real Estate Developer Awards 2024 (pic) – a distinguished annual event which will see a total of 44 categories, featuring four new additions, to capture the dynamism of the real estate sector.

The new additions include The Healer Award, The Urban Oasis Award, The Sustainability Vanguard Award, and The Newsmaker of the Year Award.

These new accolades will be presented to the developers with the best medical-oriented development, the best hotel with residential-building development, the best environmental, social and governance-conscious development, and the most compelling storyline, respectively.

The Healer Award will be conferred to the best-managed medical premise that excels in offering a comprehensive range of features tailored for healthcare.

The recipient has to demonstrate superior management practices in the maintenance of the healthcare-focused facilities, ambience and designs.

The Urban Oasis Award is to recognise the developer whose project offers a mixed development that combines hotel services with residential units.

The recipient must demonstrate superior management practices in maintaining the hotel facilities while striking an optimal balance with the residential component.

Given the importance of environment, social and governance (ESG) matters, the Sustainability Vanguard Award is introduced to give emphasis to these growing concerns. The award will be presented to the property that incorporates ESG considerations from inception to completion, coupled with on-going sustainability practices ensuring its continuous maintenance.

Finally, the recipient of The Newsmaker of the Year Award should have made a significant impact, achieved notable accomplishments or played a pivotal role in shaping and influencing real estate news and events for 2023.

It could be for the developer who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation or has been a key figure in driving change and progress within this industry.Meanwhile, StarProperty is excited to announce the initiation of submissions for the prestigious StarProperty Real Estate Developer Awards 2024.
