KAF to be rebranded as CIMB Securities


PETALING JAYA: CIMB Group Holdings Bhd has completed the acquisition of KAF Equities Sdn Bhd, via CIMB Investment Bank Bhd, and it will be rebranded as CIMB Securities Sdn Bhd.

The acquisition was part of the bank’s strategy to expand its in-house capabilities that complement the group’s wholesale banking business in Malaysia, the banking group said in a statement.

CIMB Securities will be headed by Ruzi Rani Ajith as chief executive officer.
